Easy Notes can run minimized into tray icon only, while providing quick access to all features.
As DocPad can replace editors such as notepad and WordPad, you can open files for editing right from Windows Explorer, for example.

RichEditor is used to edit external files, notes and tasks' description. It allows you to use rich text formatting. With RichEdit, you can use OLE to include objects from other applications.


PlainEditor is used to edit files stored just as plain-text. For better readability, several syntaxes are recognized and the text highlighted accordingly. This screenshot depicts an opened external file.


All tasks are hierarchically sorted in the tree and there's a view into a selectable piece of future. This is the way to manage your activities. While the interface is easy to understand and only a minimum of inputs is required, you can still have a perfect track of your activities.

You can edit desktop notes using shortcuts, context menus, or floating toolbar. Each note supports rich text formatting - i.e. bold, italic, underline, font, alignment, etc. Moreover, each note can be rolled into a floating bar to save desktop space and docked to one of desktop edges. In addition, you can set the note to always stay on top of other windows.

Note Tree is a technology to store your notes in the tree structure and to have them hierarchically sorted. You can search for a given text in given text document (note or task) as well as in all text documents of given kind - e.g. all tree notes.


This is a special kind of desktop notes, as its window behaves as sticky calendar with several notes. Additionally, it provides access to tasks planned on given day, and lets you to include custom symbols to mark days.

It is possible to customize Easy Notes to exactly fit your needs. There is a number of options ranging from data storage through behavior to appearance.
